COC management and union sign landmark CBA

Labor and management of cement firm Continental Operating Corporation have concluded a fruitful CBA negotiation following what was described as a record-setting negotiation which lasted only five hours.

The landmark 3-year CBA was signed between COC management and the Continental Operating Workers and Employees Union (COWEU) on February 23.

Holcim Phils donates property to Bulacan school

The Sapang Kawayan Elementary School in Barangay Matictic, Norzagaray, Bulacan has long served the basic education needs of children in its community. For 35 years, the proud institution served as a bridge for many school-age kids into a world of literacy, where every child rightly belongs. Things would have been different for them, though, should the school had problems with the private owner of the land on which the school stands.

Trade alliance seeks tariff recalibration
