They told the public the technical interventions they did to make sure the TCPI plant in South Poblacion operates in environmental-friendly conditions, as well as mitigating measures they undertook on environmental concerns raised to them by the stakeholders.

TCPI operates with an Environmental Management System (EMS) attuned to the latest edition of ISO 14001 (2008-2011) that is integrated with ISO 9001:2008 for quality management and OHSAS 18001:2007 for occupational health and safety.

By Oct. 25, their sharings focused on the initiatives they have been doing under their two companies’ Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) that promoted health, education, nutrition and giving a hand in building better communities.

Representing TCPI in the radio program were Esther P. Cola, senior manager for administration and human resources; her assistant, Vanessa N. Bongcawil; Engr, Nilo R. Yap, senior manager for environment and safety.
