The Cement Manufacturers’ Association of the Philippines (CeMAP) received the prestigious Industry Partnership for Quality Assurance Award from the Department of Trade and Industry–Bureau of Philippine Standards (DTI–BPS) and UL Standards and Engagement (ULSE) last month.
The award, presented at a ceremony in Taguig, recognized CeMAP’s commitment to upholding high-quality standards and ensuring consumers have access to safe, reliable cement products.
DTI–BPS and ULSE organized the event to honor organizations that have played a key role in strengthening BPS programs and services through sustained collaboration. CeMAP’s product standards committee (PSC) accepted the recognition on behalf of the association, underscoring its long-standing dedication to quality.
CeMAP, the official industry association of integrated cement manufacturers in the Philippines, actively works to safeguard consumers.
The PSC reviews and updates product standards, collaborates with government and private-sector partners, participates in DTI–BPS technical discussions to develop Philippine National Standards (PNS) and monitors nationwide market compliance by procuring and testing cement brands.
