Physical tests are used to determine the physical properties of cement. CTC offers tests such as compressive strength, normal consistency, autoclave expansion, time of setting, cement fineness and density.
There are also performance tests conducted by CTC such as alkali-silica reactivity, resistance to sulfate attack, and heat of hydration. These tests are needed for evaluation of the cement’s compliance to specific applications and project requirements.
