CeMAP Empowers Team with Fire Safety Seminar and Drill

The Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (CeMAP) successfully conducted a comprehensive Fire Prevention and Safety Seminar followed by a practical fire drill on October 24, 2025.

The event took place at the CeMAP Board Room and the immediate building grounds to equip employees with essential life-saving skills and raise workplace safety awareness.

The educational seminar was led by Fire Officer 1- Karlsun Alcantara from the Pasig Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). FO1 Alcantara provided the CeMAP team with vital insights into fire chemistry, workplace hazards, and preventative measures.

On the same day as the 2025 fire drill, a community collaboration with the Barangay Bagong Ilog Community Task Force was done.

Barangay Councilor Michael Estioco attended the session to highlight local safety contexts. He specifically discussed the community risk management strategies required due to the presence of a neighboring LPG refilling plant, emphasizing the need for constant vigilance and preparedness.

CeMAP remains committed to maintaining a safe working environment and fostering strong partnerships with local emergency responders to protect its workforce and the surrounding community.
