CEMAP earns two DTI awards for CEMF projects

The Cement Manufacturers’ Association of the Philippines was recognized for two approved projects under the DTI Competitiveness Enhancement Measures Program for its Cement Testing Center: Acquisition of an Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer for enhanced chemical composition analysis, and The Optimization of Loss on Ignition and Compressive Strength Testing.  The new XRF and TGA are expected to increase the efficiency and capacity of CTC in the chemical testing of both local and imported cement products.  On the other hand, the new CS machine will help improve the reliability and integrity of CTC in testing compressive strength of cement.
